The Monday Mindset
Theme of the week: The Importance of Reviews
Happy Monday, team! Let’s kick off the week by focusing on the power of reviews and how they impact our company.
Reviews are more than just star ratings—they’re reflections of the service we provide and the trust we earn. Here’s why they matter:
- First Impressions Count: For many potential customers, reviews are their first glimpse into who we are and how we can help. Positive reviews build credibility and invite people to trust us.
- Customer Connections: Reviews give us insight into what we’re doing well and where we can grow. They help us improve and deepen relationships with our customers.
- A Competitive Edge: In a dynamic market, strong, positive reviews can set us apart and drive more business our way.
We use Podium to make sending invitations for reviews quick and easy, but don’t forget about the power of Google, too—Google is often the first place people look when researching our company! Reviews are a vital part of our growth, and they showcase the incredible work you do every day. Let’s make it a goal to prioritize them this week!

Professional Development: Turning Interactions into 5-Star Reviews
Objective: Demonstrate how everyone contributes to a “5-Star” customer experience, whether directly or indirectly, to help the company gain valuable reviews.
Warm-Up Question: Think about a time when you received positive feedback. How did it make you feel?
Activity:
- Customer-facing employees: Pair up to practice asking for reviews at the end of an interaction. Switch roles and refine your approach.
- Non-customer-facing employees: Reflect on how your work supports the team’s efforts to create exceptional customer experiences. Share one way you can indirectly contribute to a positive review.
Key Takeaway: Even if you’re not customer-facing, strive to work in a way that would earn a glowing review for the company. Excellence starts with every team member!

💚 You Can Home Medical: “This place is awesome!! I fractured my ankle, and they helped make my life a million times easier. I first bought a boot at this store and the guy was very nice and helpful. Then after finding out it was a more serious injury I stopped by another location in Littleton close to my doctor’s office. They didn’t have a scooter available to rent so she called the Parker store. They had it all adjusted and ready to go before I even got there. Extremely friendly staff! Highly recommend.” – Stephen, Parker AND Littleton Locations
