He is deeply passionate about fly fishing and aviation. Trudy Broadbent

Trudy Broadbent became an integral part of the company when she joined in 2018. Her collaboration with Jay Broadbent in establishing Caddis Capital Management was pivotal to the company’s successful launch. Trudy’s dynamic role involves frequent visits to stores, engaging with employees, and spearheading discussions at the head of the conference table, where she actively absorbs and shares ideas to further enhance the company’s achievements. Known for her compassionate nature, Trudy is the embodiment of the human touch that is warmly welcomed by all. With a rich and diverse skill set, she has cultivated a lifelong career in various domains, and is an expert in health and wellness, massage therapy, and physical therapy. Her extensive travels have not only broadened her horizons but have also heightened her sensitivity to the needs of individuals within the company.

Outside of work, Trudy enjoys spending time with her family, tending to her garden, and volunteering to support others. She is known for her hands-on approach, genuine connections, and nurturing nature, which are qualities that continually and positively impact the Caddis companies.

Dan Cloward

Dan Cloward has been an invaluable asset to Caddis Capital Management. He has been with the company since 2010, starting as the controller in the accounting department. Due to his extraordinary organizational skills and fresh ideas, Dan was promoted to CFO. In this role, he has played a vital role in the growth of our family of companies. His leadership style is characterized by a keen attention to detail and a strong belief in people, reflected in his approach of leading from behind. He is passionate about hiring the right people with the right talents and skills, and allowing his team to develop their own confidence and autonomy. Known for celebrating wins and working closely with high achievers, Dan is not a micromanager. Additionally, he emphasizes learning from mistakes and understanding that nobody wins until people lose.

In the words of Michael Scott, “The guy you think he is, he’s not.” Dan Cloward encourages his team to do their best and prioritizes the well-being and development of his colleagues. As a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Dan adores his grandchildren and is very active in their lives. His dedication to people is evident and you can’t help but love being with Dan. Beyond his professional endeavors, Tyson competes in the Baja 1000 every year, one of the world’s most prestigious off-road motorsport races. A devoted family man, he takes immense pride in his four young adult children and is known for his willingness to lend a helping hand wherever needed, embodying the true spirit of a team player.
