The Monday Mindset
Theme of the Week: Independence at Work 🇺🇸
Independence isn’t just about freedom—it’s about responsibility. As we celebrate Independence Day this week, let’s dive deeper into the concept of what true independence means in our work and lives. Independence is built on a foundation of trust, preparation, and confidence.
This week, challenge yourself to reflect on:
- How does your role empower others to succeed? Independence often comes from working within systems of support. Think about how your work sets others up for success—whether it’s your team, customers, or the company as a whole.
- What do you do to prepare for self-sufficiency? Independence requires preparation. Are you proactive in learning and developing skills to handle challenges without waiting for solutions to come to you?
- How can we strengthen independence as a team? True independence flourishes when individuals work together. How can we create systems or habits that allow us to thrive collectively while maintaining autonomy in our roles?
As we move through this week, think of independence not as doing it all yourself, but as taking ownership of your role while contributing to something bigger.
Department Training: Resupply
Our Resupply Department is growing—and growing fast! With the launch of new systems, team members, and initiatives, we’re building toward our goal of becoming a $10 Million Department—and every team member plays a role in making that happen.
✅ SNAP Outreach – Launched June 2, 2025: We now use SNAP for all Resupply outreach. It’s more streamlined, efficient, and better for customers.
✅ Transfer of Care Initiative: We’re focusing on gaining Resupply customers who are transferring from other DMEs. This helps expand our reach and services across all brands.
✅ Warehouse & E-Drop Ship Improvements – Coming August 2025:
- Our warehouse process is improving to support larger volumes.
- We’re implementing e-drop ship for all companies, eliminating manual steps and speeding up order processing.
To support our Resupply expansion:
- We’ve hired 2 associates focused on Transfer of Care
- And 1 associate to support Customer Care
When speaking to customers interested in Resupply:
- Use the Resupply PAP Ordering Template (below) to walk through their needs.
- If the customer provides an email, send it to the Resupply team! This ensures they get tracking updates and access to the portal & app.
- Remember: Any updates in TIMS are reflected in SNAP every Thursday.
The Hedgehog Hotline – Introducing the Inogen Rove Series
Team — exciting update! We have officially transitioned from selling the Inogen G4 and G5 to offering Inogen’s next-generation portable oxygen concentrators: the Rove Series.
- Rove 4 is replacing the G4. It’s lighter, quieter, and comes with Bluetooth connectivity.
- Rove 6 replaces the G5. Same oxygen settings (1–6), but with a sleeker design, improved battery life, and smarter oxygen delivery.
These updates provide our customers with better technology, longer-lasting batteries, and an overall enhanced experience with their portable oxygen. It’s a win for everyone. Let’s ensure we’re confident discussing these changes so we can guide customers with ease.

Team Building: Declaration of “Team-dependence” 📜✨
Today’s activity encourages collaboration, fun, and team pride while tying in a lighthearted nod to the holiday. Your team will draft and “sign” their very own Declaration of Team-dependence, recognizing that while independence is great, teamwork is what helps us succeed!
Drafting the Declaration ✍️:
- Challenge accepted! Use 5-10 minutes to create your team’s declaration. It can include, but is not limited to:
- A bold, creative opening line (e.g., “We, the [insert name] Team, pledge to…”).
- 3–5 statements about what they rely on from one another to create a strong, successful, and supportive team.
- Examples:
- “We depend on honesty to communicate openly.”
- “We pledge to celebrate each other’s wins, big or small.”
- “We commit to showing up with a positive attitude.”
Signing the Declaration 🖊️:
- After creating, have each team member “sign” the declaration with their name or initials.
Happy Independence Day (tomorrow, July 4th)! Remember, there will be no Huddle tomorrow. Enjoy your holiday!
