Today’s teaching moment is on effective communication, a foundational skill. Use the BLUF (Bottom Line Up Front) Method. State your main point or required action in the very first sentence, followed by the supporting details.

❌ Ineffective (Details First): “The customer survey results came back, and we saw low scores on implementation. I reviewed the steps we took for the last launch, and the documentation was confusing. The team needs clarity.”

✅ Effective (BLUF): “Please review the attached updated implementation guide by 3 PM today, as we need sign-off before the team call tomorrow. We’ve revised the documentation to address the low implementation scores noted in the customer survey.”
