The Monday Mindset
The first of Stephen R. Covey’s 7 Habits is “Be Proactive.” This is a habit of personal responsibility. The ultimate goal is to move toward the highly effective paradigm, “I am free to choose and am ultimately responsible for my happiness.” Watch this video on Carrying Your Own Weather.
What stood out to you in this video? Do you agree that you are ultimately responsible for your happiness? How can “carrying your own weather” help you at work? How about in your personal life?

Office Connection
Did you know we have about 250 employees across our family of companies? Chances are you aren’t familiar with many people outside of your immediate team.
In the employee directory on iSolved, find someone in a different location (or company!) from you. Shoot them a Teams message. Ask them a few questions about themselves. Here are some ideas:
- hat’s your favorite series or show?
- How long have you been in your position at work?
- What is your favorite thing about your job?
- Do you have any pets?
- What’s the last book you read?
Let’s connect to our coworkers. You never know what experience and wisdom they can share.
UPT Challenge
Welcome to yet another UPT Challenge! This exciting competition brings together all our stores – Alpine, You Can, and Copper Star – to compete for the highest UPT (Units Per Transaction.) Caddis employees, reach out and congratulate the winning team!
If your team didn’t win this time, don’t lose hope! Next month could be your chance to win. Keep up the excellent work!
Congratulations to the Validation Team for winning this month’s Supporting Team UPT Challenge!
Team-Building Thursday: Collective Potential
Goal: Unlock the collective potential of your team through sharing expertise, strengths, weaknesses, and stories that would otherwise be hidden from yourself or others.
- Each member of the team should complete the worksheet individually.
- Have each person use one word or a sentence for each blank.
- Ask each person to read their Mad-Lib.
- Discuss as a group. Each person answers two questions. What three things did you learn? How can this help you work together better as a team?
Optional: Post your mad libs in your team’s common area.
Good/Bad/On My Brain
Activity: To wrap up the month, we’re going to do a GBOMB as a team!
Each of us will share something:
- Good – The highlight of your month.
- Bad – A challenge or something that didn’t go as planned.
- On My Brain – Something that’s on your brain that you may want to talk over with your team.
This is a great way to reflect on our successes, recognize challenges, and share what’s on our minds. It’s also a fun way to connect and learn more about what’s been going on for everyone!
Let’s Share
Take a few minutes to think about your GBOMB, then let’s go around the group to share. Don’t forget to submit your wins to the Hedgehog Herald!
Celebrating Birthdays & Croissants
Did you know that January 30th is National Croissant Day? That’s right, it’s the perfect excuse to indulge in one of the most delicious pastries around!
As we celebrate the birthdays of Gary Cecil, Ashley Ramos, Walker Black, Rachel Brighton, Dallas Haskins, and Jessica Rose Anne Lawhon this week, let’s also raise a buttery croissant in their honor. Whether you prefer it plain, filled with chocolate, or stuffed with ham and cheese, it’s a tasty way to kick off the celebrations! 🥐🎉
