The Monday Mindset
Theme of the Week: Growth Mindset Matters 🧠
Happy Monday, team! This week, let’s dive into the concept of a Growth Mindset. A growth mindset is the belief that abilities and intelligence can be developed through dedication, learning, and hard work. It’s the opposite of a fixed mindset, which assumes skills and talents are static and unchangeable.
When we embrace a growth mindset, we see challenges as opportunities, learn from mistakes, and continuously improve. It’s about asking, “What can I learn from this?” rather than “Why did I fail?”
Consider how this applies to your role. How can you turn feedback into progress? How can you embrace opportunities to stretch your skills this week?
Let’s make growth part of our everyday mindset!

Office Connection: Spring Cleaning
Happy Earth Day! Spring is here, and it’s the perfect time for a refresh—including CPAP supplies! Whether you’re directly involved in CPAP sales, compliance, or not, it’s valuable to understand the importance of proper CPAP maintenance and replacement schedules. Over 6% of the U.S. population deals with sleep apnea, and these simple steps can make a big difference in improving health and comfort.
1. Daily Care:
- Mask & Headgear: Hand wash with warm water and mild soap or diluted dishwasher detergent. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air-dry.
2. Weekly Care:
- Tubing: Wash with warm soapy water. Rinse completely and hang to dry with both ends pointing to the floor.
- Water Chamber: Clean with warm water and mild soap. Soak in diluted vinegar and water to remove mineral buildup, then rinse well.
It’s equally important to replace CPAP parts on a recommended schedule for peak performance and hygiene. Refer to the PAP Guide Flyers per company (resources) for detailed timelines. Ensuring parts are replaced regularly improves sleep quality, reduces health risks, and extends equipment life.
Even if CPAP isn’t your main focus, being informed helps build trust with customers. Sleep apnea impacts millions, and sharing these tips positions us as knowledgeable, reliable partners in their wellness journey.

Team Building Thursday: Leadership Pizza 🍕
Don’t we all love pizza? Not only does it taste great, but today it also serves as a fun and insightful tool for self-assessment and leadership growth.
This activity is self-paced and encourages reflection on the skills and attitudes that make a great leader.
Create Your Leadership Pizza
- Divide your pizza into slices, labeling each one with leadership skills or qualities you value (e.g., Empathy, Communication, Collaboration).
- This is personal—choose what resonates with you as a leader.
Reflect & Share
- Share one strength and one growth area with the group.
Self-Assessment
- Score each slice on a scale of 1 to 10, with 1 at the core (beginning to develop) and 10 at the edge (fully confident). The twist? You’ll be ranking yourself on these qualities.
Fun Friday: The Power of “Yet”
Opening Prompt
Start with this question to the group:
“What’s one thing you’re currently not great at… yet?”
Encourage team members to think of a work-related skill or personal goal they’ve been struggling with.
Each person takes a turn sharing their challenge using the phrase, “I’m not great at [X]… yet.”
Examples:
“I’m not great at public speaking… yet.”
“I don’t fully understand this software… yet.”
After everyone has shared their challenge, open the floor for brainstorming. Ask:
- “What are small steps someone could take to improve in this area?”
- “Has anyone on the team overcome a similar challenge?”
- “What resources or support could we provide to make progress?”
A growth mindset helps us view challenges as opportunities for learning. By embracing “the power of yet,” we remind ourselves that improvement is always possible with effort and support.
