The Monday Mindset
Have you considered the impact of your language on your mindset? Let’s look at it in action.
Get into pairs and tell your partner all the things you must do today or this week. Each of you take two minutes or so to share.
Now, turn to that same partner and rephrase all the things you listed before as things you get to do.
How did this simple shift in language affect the feeling of your conversation? How did it change your mood? This is Habit 1 in practice—being proactive with your language. And it makes all the difference.
Office Connection: One Thing
Connection is the heart of any successful team. Today, let’s focus on strengthening our bonds within the office by sharing, listening, and learning from one another.
Each person shares one thing:
- One thing they’re working on this week.
- One thing they’re excited about (work-related or personal).
- One thing they need help or support with.
What’s one way we can help make each other’s day a little easier or more connected in the office?
Office connection doesn’t just happen—it’s built through intention like this. Let’s carry this spirit of connection throughout the week by checking in with one another, lending a hand, or simply offering encouragement!
Review Challenge
It’s THAT time again! What time? It’s time to announce the winner of the latest review challenge! Thank you so much for participating in yet another review challenge.
Don’t give up if you didn’t win this time. You could be the winner of the next challenge! Remember, it’s never too late to get started. Invite as many customers as you can to review your store. We will calculate based on the highest rating per review sent! We will be looking for the most reviews received, but you must also win with the highest rated reviews. Just because you are a small store does not mean you cannot win! The winning store will be featured in our next review challenge.
Team Building Thursday: Pipeline of Impact
Every role in our company is a vital piece of a larger system. Today, we’re taking a moment to dive deeper into how our individual work supports not just our team, but the company and the lives of the people we serve. Let’s connect the dots between our daily tasks and the bigger picture.
Think about your role and answer these questions:
- What is one specific thing I do that directly benefits our customers or referral sources?
- How does my work create opportunities or remove obstacles for others in the company?
- What would happen if my role didn’t exist?
Each team member shares one insight they had during reflection. This could be something they realized about the importance of their work or how it impacts others.
- As a team, how can we better align our efforts to ensure every part of the “pipeline” works efficiently and effectively?
When we understand the ripple effects of our work, it creates a stronger sense of accountability and pride. Together, we are more than individuals—we are a connected pipeline driving success for our company and delivering meaningful impact to those we serve. Let’s keep that connection in mind as we move forward.
Fun Friday: Two Truths and a WORK Lie
Let’s kick off today with a little fun to learn more about each other! This twist on the classic “Two Truths and a Lie” is work-related, so it’s all about our roles, experiences, or fun facts from the job.
Each person will share two true statements and one false statement about their work or professional life. For example:
- “I once trained a new hire in under 30 minutes.”
- “I’ve been Employee of the Month three times.”
- “I accidentally sent an email to the wrong department.”
The team guesses which statement is the lie.
Go around the group, letting everyone take a turn.
